amiea Global Talents Championship is an important component of the permanent makeup industry. Because only through continuous exchange and professional competitions it is possible to create knowledge and to develop trends. amiea Academy will host this competition every two years in Berlin (Germany). So amiea inspires, discovers new talents and connects permanent makeup artists all over the world. The contest seeks to award the best international talents in micropigmentation. Awards were given in two categories: New Talents featured practicing PMU artists with not less than 1 year and under 3 years of experience. The Supreme Master category featured experienced PMU artists with more than 3 years of experience.
To be a part of the amiea Global Talents Championship you have to win the amiea National Talents competitions. They will take place in 2020 in countries such as Brazil, USA, France, South Africa and many others. You want to participate? Then talk to your local distributor!
creativity and professionality
You surely want to know: what is your task for the championship? Use your best technics to create the perfect eyebrows and lips on a model. There will be a photographer taking before and after photos. Of course, you have enough time to create the perfect look and to do the styling of your model after the pigmentation – use your creativity! There will be a hygiene jury checking the correct process during the artist’s work. Afterwards a professional jury will judge and evaluate the results of your work.

Joaquim Almeida from Brazil was the winner in the Supreme Master category, second was Nicole Milan, third Camila Melo. Wu Haiyan from China was the winner in the New Talent category. On second place was Maria Nieto, on third place Le Thu Trang.
